Jacques Germain was a student of the Modern Academy, directed by Fernand Léger and Amédée Ozenfant. It was in 1931 that he left for Germany to join the Bauhaus school, which he was the only Frenchman to join. He follows the teaching of Kandinsky. He returned to Paris by bicycle in July 1932.

Destiny turned upside down by the war, it was not until 1949 that he had his first personal exhibition in Paris. He also exhibited alongside Arp, Bryen, Fautrier, Hartung, Mathieu, Picabia, etc. He will be represented by many galleries, including the Maeght gallery in 1951.

In 1997 a major retrospective was organized at the Couvent des Cordeliers in Paris. Some of his works are in public collections, in the Oslo museum, the Lille fine arts museum, the Bergen museum, the Bremen museum, the Lausanne museum, the city's national modern art museum. from Paris.

You can have it delivered to the address of your choice. Attention, you must be present during the delivery, or failing that, someone you trust will have to be present to represent you.

Return costs are free and we will reimburse you in full. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the delivery of your work (proof of delivery from the carrier serving as proof).
